The Who and the Why

 I'm Olivia. I'm a little weird. A little bit witty and a little bit lame. I'm a nerd, geek, hippie, hipster, and whatever other label you'd like to throw on top. I would love to get to know you, especially if you are weird like me. So join me on this crazy journey.

 In my last three and a half years of blogging, I've never quite accomplished what I've really wanted. Something has never been quite right. I've been trying too hard to be brilliant and not hard enough to be honest. I focused too much on apologizing for not posting than just writing from my heart. I was distracted my design and not content.

 So here's an experiment. I want to write to write. Not to get readers. Not to have a fancy blog that everyone oos and ahhs over. Just blog for therapy sake.

 I want to tell stories. Stories of church planting on the Range. Stories of being an urban hippie in a redneck small town. Stories of striving for brilliance in my life. I want these all to be real. To be honest and raw. I want to just be able to admit to the big wide world that life is crazy and I don't have anything near together. I'm a teen girl that's a lazy perfectionist with a desire to be an overachiever with not enough drive to actually do so.

 I'm going to ramble.

 I'm going to rant.

 I'm going to make mistakes.

 I'm going to make something that's sloppily beautiful.
